Throw a leg over the bar and gently return yourself to the standing position on the other side without roundhouse kicking your fellow competitors.
Choose your hand and footholds wisely as you climb the bank of pallets. You can either jump or climb down the other side. If you decide to booty-scoot your way off be sure to stop by the pharmacy on your way home to pick-up a professional pair of tweezers for the splinters.
Stay on your hands and feet as you negotiate the camo net crawl. You can either crawl over the roof OR Luke Duke your way across the hood.
The weight of your fellow athletes will have the cargo net twitching and bucking. Focusing on making your steps and grabs measured and controlled. To avoid a slip that will have you hanging by your feet — we recommend stepping on the horizontal ropes and grabbing the vertical ropes. If you want to spare your knees from scratches and scrapes, skip crawling and make your way under the fence on your hands and feet. The combination of tires and pallets may look easy, but don't underestimate the challenge.
As you hit the first set of tires aim for the center of each tire with your toes and keep your knees high. Then choose your hand and footholds carefully as you crush each row of palettes. Now you only have one more field of tires — step lively — and then you're on your way. This is it, your last challenge before you claim victory. Then muscle your way over before jumping down the other side. Grace that Finish Line like the Urbanathlete you are, take a selfie and sign-up for the next one.
You first come to the tires, as you approach, aim for the center of each tire with your toes, and keep those knees high. Get ready to crouch on your hands and feet, then watch your head, as you move diagonally under the first trailer, Fast and Furious style.
Pop up for a second, but not for long, as you complete the slalom, crouching on your hands and feet again, by moving under the second trailer and through the obstacle. The barricade labyrinth awaits ahead, so get focused up. Choose your entrance, then believe or ignore the directional signs which may hinder, or help, your passage. Climb over pallets, but never the barricades, winding your way through the maze to freedom beyond.
Ignore your natural instinct to avoid the dumpster, and take dead aim at it. Climb over the side, and in to its empty belly, quickly crossing the base and over the other side wall. Once out, get yourself ready to step in and out of the tires. Aim for the center of each tire with your toes, and keep those knees high. Your technique is honed now to scale the second dumpster, leap in, cross over, and climb out clean. Pick up the pace and get ready to jump. Accelerate to the turnstiles, hurdling them while keeping your momentum, just like in the movies.
Look ahead quickly as the fast approaching train platforms stand ahead. With your speed still up, take a leap from platform to platform, aiming then at the second set of turnstiles ahead.
